Perth Trip 2013 : Part 3 : Perth City - Hello Monday!

Entry bersamnbung dari SINI.

Assalamualaikum.

Good Morning Monday!

No Monday blues please :)

Hari ke-3 di Perth, hari pertama papa pergi keje and mama stay at hotel with kids. Isteri mithali yang dibawa khas ini mestilah siap gosokkan baju papa, ok dah hensem. Pastu tang perut pulak, masakkan hearty breakfast untuk papa.

Menu for today: friend rice with prawn and omelette. Ala mengada pulak, nasi goreng udang dan telur dadar jer. Kat hotel takde blender ataupun  lesung batu, makanya guna sahaja pes nasi goreng segera Adabi. Saya sebenarnya kurang gemar menggunakan pes masakan segera, sebab pasti tinggi kandungan MSGnya. Tapi untuk travel, bolehlah dari tak ada :)

For kids pulak, menu by request. hari ini dioarang nak mee goreng dan scamble eggs.

Teh cap Harris :)

Mama pulak dengan healthy breakfast. Diet yang tak berapa diet. High in sugar!

Tak habis-habis dengan hot chocolate + fresh milk. Rasa sedappp lebih sikit fresh milk kat sini. Suka sangat shopping fresh milk, drinking chocolate and fresh fruits. Perasaankah, bila pisang kat Aussie pun terasa lebih sedappp. Over!

Jomlah anak-anak ku bersiap.

What a perfect day outside! Mama dah tak sabar nie!

Arash my little helper :)

And my 5 years old son, willingly help me with all the chores. Sayang Arash mama. Amani sayang pun tolong mama jugak, tolong duduk diam-diam kat stroller tue :)

Kami memang kuat menjajan bila travel. Bila kat rumah pun beli jugak. Cuma bila travel nie, takde benda nak buatkan selain jalan, makan, jalan, makan lagi.

Chocolate and more chocolate.
The choice is yours!

Joms kita jalan-jalan. Window shopping dulu!

Dekat sahaja nie dari hotel kami. Seberang jalan dah sampai :)

Memang selalu jumpa kat lobby, tourist dari M'sia jugak. Ramai yang datang dengan big family. Dari nenek sampai ke cucu-cicit. Meriah, jeles tengok diorang hari nie semua nak pergi jalan-jalan ada nak pergi Nambung National Park, Yanchep National Park. Huhuhu.

Datang atas nama kerja.. sob..sob..;)

Joms anak-anak temankan mama. Shopping mall yang wajib masuk di Murray St dan Hay St. adalah Myer, David Jones, Myer is the largest department store in the city and is in Forrest Chase. David Jones runs between Murray street mall and Hay street mall.

William st

Looking for delicious halal food?

 Ispa Kebabs, 110 William St.

Our most favourite kebab in Aussie :)

Sedap. Cukup rasa.

Mama jugak kena bayar :)

Deretan fast food restaurant.

Wesley Church, on  75, William St and Hay Streets, Perth

The Commonwealth Bank building stands on the corner of Murray Street and Forrest Place.

City Gifts & Sourvenir, kedai dihadapan hotel Adina.
Tempat memborong sourvenir yang macam tak cukup-cukup ;)

Menunggu di hadapan Karache' Café, yang menjual Malaysian Food. Ingatkan hari nie nak tapau Nasi Beriyani yang femes tue. Tapi dia bukak agak lambat, 11.30am. Borak-borak dengan Indian lady migrated from Malaysia for almost 15 years ago. What a coincidence! This lady also waiting for the Nasi Beriyani. Hihihi..

However my Amani was not in the good mood. Sebenarnya dah 3 hari, macam ok jer. Arash ok. Tapi Amani mengamuk!

"Susu Amani tak sedapp" terus tak nak susu.

Dahla picky eater, mama pulak sibuk buat experiment masa nak pergi travel nie. Jadinya perut pun masuk angin. Pening. Muntah. Papa marah mama. Adoi.

Berlarian lah mama ke Insan's Café. Berdepan jer dengan Karache' Café nie. Senang betul nak carik halal food n Malaysian Food kat sini. Suka. Apa ade kat sini? Nasi campur, Nasi tomato, Nasi Ayam, Nasi goring, Mee goring mamak, ayam goreng mamak,  kuih-muih, Teh tarik. Macam-macam lagilah.

Agak-agak tekak nak carik Malaysian food datanglah ke sini. Sedap makanan dia. Owner dan anak-anak pun ramah melayan. Orang Kedah, saya lupa alor star ke sg. petani :)

Inilah Amani yang mogok susu itu.

Sebab mama salah. Favourite choc milk kami semua. Kata jer susu made in Western Australia. Ingatkan murah dari KL. Takde maknenyer. Mahal jugak. Adeihh letih nak membeli kalau otak asyik convert RM to Dollar AUS. Jadi hilang selera makan. Adoiii.

Turun hotel, dah sampai :)

Indonesia Indah Restaurant.

118-120 Barrack Street, Perth, WA, 6000

Cuma payah sikit bila kami bertiga sahaja nak take-away and with stroller.

Low crime doesn't means no crime. Ok. Noted.

Cuaca pun cantik pulak. Let's go strolling around the city again.

Stirling Gardens

An urban and small public park in Perth. Located on the corner of St Georges Terrace, Perth and Barrack Street, west of the Government House and north of the Supreme Court buildings, it contains a group of significant sculpture items.

Stirling Garden map.

According to visitperthcity.com,

Stirling Gardens are the oldest gardens in the city. First used by colonial botanist James Drummond as an acclimatisation garden in the 1830s, the reserve opened as the botanical garden in 1845.

Stirling Gardens also adjacent to, the Supreme Court Gardens. Another beautiful public park in Perth City.

It's 12 noon. And people are having their lunch time hours at the park.

Tenang. Indah. Damai.

Ke mana-mana dipoket ada cars. My Arash :)

Picture taken by my sweet Arash. Me and my little princess, Ameera Amani.

Kangaroo Sculptures and a water feature are some of the interesting aspects of this parkland.

Having good time in here. While papa was at work :)

The Bell Tower, Home of the Swan Bells

According to http://www.thebelltower.com.au/.

The Bell Tower located on Riverside Drive overlooking the picturesque Swan River is one of Perth's most unique and must see tourist attractions. Filled with fascinating historic content and boasting a unique and distinctive design - resulting from a major architectural competition - it has become an icon for Perth and Western Australia.

Cepat Mama!

Mujurlah jalanraya kat sini semua pedestarian friendly.

The Bell Tower located on the Swan River in vibrant Barrack Street Jetty, is one of the largest musical instruments on earth and was built to house the bells of Saint Martin in the Fields church, in Trafalgar Square, London.

This is Love Locks!

Originated in The Great Wall of China. And now the concept is world-wide and the locks can be seen at several locations across the planet including; South Korea, Nevada USA, Russia, Italy, Hungary, Japan, Guam, Latvia, the love goes on.

Love Locks are only $30.00 and includes engraving of two names and a date* and a beautiful folder so you can record the date and the moment that you locked your love together with that special person. Family members and close friends also use Love Locks to lock their relationship forever.

This special Love Locks is specially purchased at and engraved by The Bells Tower. No other kind of love locks is acceptable here. Easy on eyes too :)

Ralit membelek love locks itu, hujan pun turun!

Maka berlarian kami mencari teduh di

Barrack Street Jetty

In addition to visiting the Bell Tower, Barrack Street Jetty is a popular destination for hopping on a ferry, taking a cruise up or down the Swan River; shopping for gifts and souvenirs and many more!

Dear kids, we will not cruising the Swan River without Papa :)

Nanti Papa nangis.. kikiki :)

Alhamdulillah hujan pun tak lama. Biasalah petanda nak masuk winter ini. Hujan sekejap dan kerap. Buat cuaca makin sejuk. Mama nak shopping pun kian payah. Asal cerah kena shopping nie. Tak boleh buang masa nie. Ehhh.

You can buy ticket City Sighseeing Perth here.

 City Sightseeing Perth

Operates an open air, fun tour around Perth. Using an open top double decker bus guarantees a bird’s eye view of the city’s top attractions and Kings Park.

Kings Park please wait for us!

Enjoy the open spaces of Barrack Street Jetty.

On the way back heading to our hotel.
Green space at Barrack St Jetty.

The riverside also is one of Perth’s favourite locations for walking, jogging and cycling.

At 4.30 pm papa back from work. After solat, there we went out to explore the city, again.
This time with papa!!!

A sweet family picture again taken by sweet Aussie.

CAT at our back.

The city centre can easily be accessed by public transport, either the trains or buses. The train and northern bus stations are very close to Forrest Chase (off the Murray street mall), and can be accessed via pedestrian walkways. Throughout Perth, the public transport provider TransPerth, give people the option of commuting within the city on a CAT, which is a free bus service.

Perth Town Hall

Was built on the highest point in the centre of town, at the corner of Howick (now Hay) and Barrack streets. Construction of the Perth Town Hall began in 1867.  Perth Town Hall’s architectural style is described as a combination of "Victorian Free Gothic Style, with strong medieval overtones".

After work rush.

Hihihi kebanyakkan premise tutup pukul 5.00 petang. Mana-mana shops yang payah tadi nak masuk dek bawak stroller, inilah masanya. Tapi tak puaslah, sebab kejap sangat.

This is the area, shop till you drop!

 Murray St and Hay St.

The pedestrians-only stretch of shopping belt right in the middle of the Perth city centre. It also has the links to other arcades and malls to shop in too.  London Court is one such option. Will write about London Court in next entry :)

Must-go departmental stores like Myer, David Jones, WoolWorths, Target. Others shops like Valleygirl, Pandora, Cotton On, Dottie. Mana-manalah asal menangkap mata!

Gerimis pulak petang nie. Bila nak angin winter sudah menorobos autumn, musim hujan pun mulalah. Hujan dan angin sejuk. Gigil. Maka cancel la plan nak jalan malam nie.

Malam nie mama tak masak. Nak makan kebab kata papa. Hihihi memang bau kambing ;)

 Angelic faces of mine.

Jom balik hotel kejar Maghrib.
Penat seharian temankan mama :)

Alhamdulillah.
Thank you Allah. Another great day in Perth :)
